Paul didn't set out to build a VA company. He set out to hire one.

Flylisted, his Boston-based real estate marketing company operating across New England and South Florida, was his first venture. Two years in, it had pushed past $50,000 a month. And Paul was on fumes. Bookkeeping at 7am, client calls at lunch, deliverables to QC at midnight, sales pitches squeezed between every other thing. The business kept growing and so did the list of things only he could do. By the end of year two, a savvy entrepreneur, he hit the wall most founders pretend doesn't exist: full career burnout, debilitated by the number of directions the business was pulling him in at once.

That's when he started hearing the same advice from everyone in his network: "Just hire a VA. Delegate. Scale." So he tried. Three times. Three completely different ways.

He built a system that targeted the top 1% of global talent, screened every client-facing placement to a near-native English standard, paid them what they were actually worth, and wrapped every placement in accountability infrastructure that made someone 5,000 miles away just as reliable as someone in the next office. That system was born inside Flylisted.

Once the right person was in place, Paul ran the playbook he'd later teach hundreds of operators. He took note of every task he hated doing. Every single one. Then he trained his VA on them, one at a time, until each one ran without him. Inbox triage. Scheduling. Bookkeeping. Client follow-up. Vendor coordination. Each task moved off his plate. Each one stayed off.

Flylisted grew into a 7-figure annual operation across 6 states. Paul stepped into a passive board role, launched Staffify to give hundreds of other operators the same result without the trial and error, and has since gone on to found four more companies. Same systems-first playbook every time. Delegation through real infrastructure, not luck.
